This component demonstrates how prevalent individual SERP Features are for a single period compared to another.

It also highlights the search terms that a site has won and lost SERP Feature visibility.

The period is determined by the reporting period of the overall report.

Setup

To add the component to a report from the setup wizard:

  • Select the desired workspace

  • Select which Search Term Groups to analyse

  • Select the Search Engine

  • Select which site

  • Advanced - choose which SERP features you wish to be included from the drop-down

  • Add any notes if applicable

  • Click Submit to add the component to the Report

Outputs

In the report, the top tables of the component show you how present your chosen site is for the chosen SERP features and data, and the movement of the relevant SERP features:

The bottom tables show the wins and losses. In each column, you can see the search term, it’s search volume, the SERP feature won/lost, its positions at the start and end of the reporting period, and its movement.

This example also demonstrates the component’s insight.

The search term ‘best toothache pain relief’ has moved into the top position from outside the top 100 with an answer card SERP feature as a win. It is also in the lost table as a classic link that has fallen out of the top 100 where the answer card replaced it:
