Feature Visibility Score

Feature Visibility is the visibility score of SERP Features measured by all search terms within the specified Search Terms Groups. We give each SERP feature a score based on its position from 1-100. We always use the highest possible position if a feature is present more than once in the SERP.

Feature Visibility Timeline can be found in the 'Featrure landscape' section of the left-hand navigation:

How to use Feature Visibility Timeline

Select which Dashboard to analyse:

Note: a Dashboard must already be created to use Feature Visibility Timeline. Learn how to create Dashboards, here.

Chart

The chart plots the Feature Visibility Score for each selected SERP feature over time:

Hover over a data point to see the visibility score and date for each SERP feature:

Click on the categories across the top to drill down by search term group:

Table

Below the chart is the heatmap table. As a feature's visibility score increases or decreases over time, its shade of green will be darker or lighter, allowing you to easily identify changes in score over time without referencing the chart.

Clicking on a data point in the table takes you to Feature Explorer to explore the additional information captured in the SERP features:

SERP features can be selected and deselected in the 'Plot' column to be added or removed from the chart:

Every Dashboard features the Feature Visibility Timeline component, for quick insight into SERP feature visibility for the Dashboard period. Click through from the component to the tool:
