Where to find Dashboards
Dashboards are the home page once logged into Pi but can be found in the Overview section of the left-hand navigation:
How to create a Dashboard
To create a new Dashboard, click the blue 'Create new Dashboard' button in the top-right:
Setup wizard
Step 1 - Workspaces and Search Term Groups
Click the blue 'Add Workspaces and Search Term Groups' button:
Click, 'Show all Workspaces and groups' to create a Dashboard including all Workspaces and Search Term Groups:
Note: A total of 50 Workspaces and 50,000 search terms can be included in a Dashboard.
The search term limit is for all search terms in all groups, not queries. E.g. if the search term 'coats' is included in 2 search term groups, this would count as 2 search terms towards the 50,000 search term limit.
Dashboards can only be created with markets that are tracked in daily or weekly Workspaces.
Alternatively, use the search boxes at the top to filter for specific Workspaces, groups, or markets.
Use the check/uncheck options and tick boxes to select the desired Workspaces and groups.
A Dashboard with just a single workspace can be created.
Once your selection is ready, click the blue, 'Add Workspaces and Search Term Groups as rows' button:
Now you will see your selected Workspaces and Search Term Groups. Here, you can add more Workspaces and Groups using the blue button, remove groups from rows, or use the 'Actions' options to edit or remove the entire row:
If a mobile search engine is tracking in the selected workspace(s), this will be selected as the default search engine. To change this, click 'Edit row' in the actions column.
Here, you can change the search engine to analyse and add or remove search term groups:
Step 2 - Sites
Select or add which My Site and Competitor sites to analyse:
Step 3 - Details
Give the Dashboard a title, choose a start period using the date picker or chart, currency, and the average conversion value and conversion rate. Click, 'Finish':
Your Dashboard has been created! The Dashboard will be available once it has been processed:
Note: A Performance Index is automatically created from every Dashboard. These indexes are found in the Performance Index section of the Visibility Index page and cannot be edited.
