Visibility Index summary is an overview of a selected Visibility Index - either a Performance Index or Comparison Index. The component can be added to a Report as many times as desired to allow for quick analysis on as many indexes as needed.
The Visibility Index summary Component will differ depending on which type of index you add to the component:
Performance Index – Get Visibility Scores and targets for your nominated site, the breakdown of scores across search term groups, and the score of competitors and movement over the reporting period.
Comparison Index – Get Visibility Scores for all the sites and movement over the reporting period.
Setup
To add the component to a report from the setup wizard:
Select which workspace you wish to report on
Choose an Index to add to the component
Include SERP features - the SERP features included cannot be edited here as the Visibility Index is calculated ahead of time. You can hover on the arrow to see which SERP features will be included
Add Notes if applicable
Click Submit to add the component to the Report

Visibility Index summary for Performance Index
The top output charts your site’s Visibility Index score for the previous period versus the current period.
Note: no SERP features are displayed, only that they have been included in the index score if included.
Under this is a chart of your VI score versus the selected competitors.
Beneath the Visibility Index score chart is a table with each Search Term Group's (STG) previous and current score, indicating a rise, fall, or if it’s stayed the same.
Click the icon next to the STG to chart its visibility index score. Here you can:
Adjust the date range with the date picker
Include SERP Features
Under ‘Actions’, explore the position data of the terms in the STG in Position Explorer Table
Next to the STG chart is a table with each selected competitor’s previous and current score, indicating a rise, fall, or if it’s stayed the same:
Click the icon next to the competitor’s site to chart its visibility index score. Here you can:
Adjust the date range with the date picker
Select and unselect which STGs to chart
Include SERP Features
Under ‘Actions’, explore the position data of the terms in each STG in Position Explorer Table
Visibility Index Summary for Comparison Index
Unlike performance indexes, comparison indexes only focus on your selected competitors.
Therefore, this component in a report has a chart showing the competitors scores for the current period as well as a table showing their scores and any movement.
Clicking the chart icon will take you to the same table as the competitor index scores from the Visibility Index summary for Performance Index:
