The Site Position summary displays the overall site-wide visibility of your chosen Site in a report, whether it be your own or a competitor.

This lets you see what percentage of your terms your site position for on the SERPs and providing a further drill-down to focus on the performance of each individual Search Term Group.

Setup

To add the component to a report from the setup wizard:

  • Select the desired Workspace

  • Select the site to analyse

  • Select the search term groups

  • Select the Search Engine

  • Add Notes if applicable

  • Include SERP features - if SERP features are included, it will automatically select all. Click the dropdown arrow to customise which SERP features to analyse

  • Click ‘Submit’ to add the component to the report

Outputs

In the report, a small table at the top has the following columns:

  • Site URL

  • Appeared in - how many searches the site appeared in

  • Average Position - the site’s average position

The bottom part of the component in the report is divided into two:

  • Overall Position Breakdown - the percentage of terms in the selected search term groups the site positions for

  • Search Term Group Position Breakdown - the chart on the right is a further drill-down of the site’s overall position breakdown by search term group

The key at the bottom helps to identify what percentage of terms positioned in which positions.

Next Step Actions

Next to the site, the 3 icons will take you to the following tools
