Overview
Monitor the impact of internal conflict on your site at a single glance with Conflict Detector.
With the traffic impact filter, you can quickly see which search terms are suffering the most from internal conflict and how this impacts your site traffic.
From there, jump straight into Position Explorer Chart to analyse the conflicting URLs positions over time.
From Conflict Detector, you can see the URL with the greatest visibility and create content recommendations in Optimise Now directly from the table.
Please note: To use Conflict Detector, you must create a dashboard and enable Conflict Detector on your account. Contact your Customer Success Manager to learn more.

Table
The table below the chart displays the:

Top URL changes - number of times the top URL switches for the Search Term in the last 30 days
Position volatility - the number of position changes for the search term
Top position - the highest position the search term reached on the SERPs
Traffic Impact - the cost in traffic potential caused by the conflict in the last 30 days
Click the '+' icon next to a search term to reveal its conflicting URLs:
From here you can see:
Conflicting URLs
Time visible
Last seen
Note: 'Not ranked' in the conflicting URLs column means the site didn't have a ranking position for that particular search term during the period analysed. The time visible then becomes how long the site wasn't visible for.
From this example, we can see the top URL is visible for the most amount of time over the 30 days and was last seen 0 days ago, indicating it is the strongest URL:
From here, the Actions option can be selected to create content recommendations directly in Optimise Now to better optimise the URL:
