Intelligent Copy is an account level live analysis tool used to provide feedback on the optimisation of a page for a specific Search Term. The details of the page can be changed to provide an estimate of what would need to be done to the page to give better optimisation results.
You can use Intelligent Copy to do basic on-page SEO optimisation of content. Intelligent Copy is a live analysis tool that looks at 15 different measures to determine the level of on-page optimisation.
Intelligent Copy can be found in the 'content' drop-down in the navigation:
How does it work?
Intelligent Copy looks at five different fields to determine the level of on-page optimisation. The fields are then weighted to determine the overall score.
Keyword density
Checks if the number of instances of the keyword is within a specified range or that the overall density is within a specified range
Hyphen Limit
Ensures the number of hyphens after the final slack (in a URL) is less than a certain number.
Condensed Keyphrase
Checks for instances of keyword without hyphens (e.g. "mobile-phone" instead of "mobile-phone").
Underscore
Checks for use of underscores as a word separator (e.g. "mobile_phone")
Start Proximity
Checks if the keyword is within the max depth of the start of the content.
Content length
Checks the total number of characters is within a specified range.
Word count
Check that the total number of words is within a specified range.
When loaded from Content Diagnostics, the base level on-page theme elements are populated, scored, and recommendations are provided to improve the theme score.
Page details
This is where you edit the fields that are then scored and given an optimisation score. If you have loaded from the Content Diagnostics tool the fields with be populated with the page information and you can make edits to see how this affects your score.
If you have loaded Intelligent Copy from the navigation, these parameters will be blank and you can populate as desired. Fill in each individual field and click "analyse" to get view the page optimisation score.
Page analysis
Once you have populated the Page Theme fields, you will be taken to the on-page analysis. Here you will get recommendations on changes that can be made in each field to enhance your optimisation score and be shown the strengths and weaknesses of your page optimisation. Use this tool to fine-tune and perfectly optimise your pages which will help boost performance in the SERPs by strengthening your on-page content based on our estimates.
