Once a Campaign has been created it can still be edited, particularly, the end date. A campaign can run between 24 hours and 1 month, but before it reaches the end of its cycle it can be extended (or reduced if already set for longer than 24 hours).
If you have search terms that are no longer relevant they can be removed and replaced with new search terms.
Note: The end date can only be changed before the tracking cycle ends. If the campaign has already ended, it can be duplicated into a new campaign which can be set to run longer. Both editing a campaign to extend its end date and duplicating campaigns will be covered in this article.
Benefits
Being able to edit a campaign allows you to make changes based on the results you’re seeing as the SERP landscape develops. Replace keywords with ones that may have more relevance for a product launch, or extend the tracking cycle to further cover a developing news story.
