AI Prompt Explorer

Uncover the prompts, results, and opportunities shaping your brand in AI search

Written by Jay Langridge

What is AI Prompt Explorer?

AI Prompt Explorer provides visibility into how brands, domains, and URLs appear within AI-generated search results. By delivering question-level LLM insights at scale, it reveals which brands and URLs are mentioned, the number of domains referenced, and how these results evolve.

Use this data to benchmark performance, uncover growth opportunities, and refine strategies to align with the future of LLM-driven search—bringing clarity and competitive insight to an area once hidden from view.

How to use AI Prompt Explorer

Select a workspace LLM and optional groups from the workspace. Not selecting groups will include all groups by default:

Most cited domains

This chart displays the most frequently cited domains on the specified date. Each bar is broken down into sections per group of queries. Hover over each section to see the number of citations for each group of queries:

Note: This chart is limited to the top 10 domains. Just because your site doesn't appear here doesn't mean it hasn't been cited. Don't forget to check the table filtered by your domain to see if there are citations!

Most mentioned brands

This chart displays the share of mentions per group for each brand. Hover over a segment to see the number of mentions of each group:

Note: This chart is limited to the top 5 brands. Just because your brand doesn't appear here doesn't mean it hasn't been mentioned. Don't forget to check the table filtered by your brand to see if there are mentions!

Queries

Below the most cited domains and most mentioned brands charts is a table displaying the data for the queries and groups in separate tabs.

The following data is displayed for each query:

  • Query

  • Unique domains - the number of unique domains that were cited when generating the responses for the query

  • Unique cited URLs - the number of URLs cited for each query

  • Unique brands mentioned - number of unique brand mentions for each query

Roll over the number in each cell to reveal the domains, URLs, or brand mentions:

Query output

Click anywhere in the query cell to display the Query output sidebar:

This displays the returning citations, which can be filtered by brand, domains, or sentiment from the dropdowns at the top. Any Brand mentions are highlighted.

Actions

The actions in the queries tab allow you to view each query's output or performance in AI Site Monitoring or AI Brand Monitoring:

Groups

This tab displays the same data as the queries tab, but summarised for each group:

The following data is displayed for each group:

  • Groups

  • Queries - number of queries in the group

  • Unique domains - the number of unique domains that were cited when generating the responses for all the prompts in the group

  • Unique cited URLs - the number of URLs cited for each query

  • Unique brands mentioned - number of unique brand mentions for each query

Roll over the number in each cell to reveal the domains, URLs, or brand mentions:
