Simple steps to follow if you or fellow teammates are having trouble accessing a Pi account that uses SSO.

Scenario 1) Make sure the user is added to the account

Go to the 'User management' section of the account menu after clicking on the account name in the top-right of the screen:

Here you'll see all users in the account. If they don't appear in the list, add them to the account:


Scenario 2) The user is in the account, but they can't log in

Go to the user management page and click on the user's name:

If there is no last login time and date, the user most likely did not complete the steps in their invitation email. Have them check their inbox or spam/junk folder for this email. If they can't find it, contact the Product Support Team, who can resend the invite.


Scenario 3) The user's email can't be found

The user tries to log in, but is presented with this message:

This means the user has not yet been invited. Follow these steps to add them to the account.


Scenario 4) Credentials aren't recognised at SSO

If the user faces a similar error as the screen below, they must contact a stakeholder on the account to obtain or reset their company credentials (not their Pi Datametrics login):
